Wool Crazy

I started the Wool Crazy quilt after my sister gave me the book for Christmas. It was a suggestion from a friend that has a quilt shop in Minnesota, Roseann Kermes of Rosebud's Cottage. The plan is to make a signle block, one with flowers and birds and a garden angel. You can see from the pictures that I've started out that way. I'm not sure where it'll end up. I do know that I need to improve on my picture taking.

There are such wonderful blocks being completed on the Wool Crazy blog that they're really inspiring. It is a bit of an addiction as it's hard to put down once an idea hits.

  3. Hey Sandy,
You asked me about keeping the batting in place...I haven't had a problem but I am using wool batting. the next square I start I will put the batting in the middle and add the wool scraps on top in a stitch and flip method.
I am really enjoying this project even if I am slow at stitching by hand.

    Happy sewing,
    Kim
